I remember when Musye, have to take a day off when I got sick. And when I told her: ” I’ll be alright, Mus” then I can see a relieved smile on her face.
I remember when Papah back from work with snacks box for his children to share. Once, I asked him :” Where did you get it from Pah?” he replied : ” It’s from a meeting and I wasn’t hungry so I brought it home for you and your siblings.”
I remember how my parents always put everything first for their children
After becoming a parent
Now…
I understand why Musye willing to stay at home company me while I got sick. It’s because she want to make sure that I got comfort from her. Parents’ comfort is the best cure for sick kids.
Now..
I understand why Papah always bring snacks box for us.It’s because he want to share it with me and my siblings, although I’m pretty sure he was hungry too.
Now …
I understand why my parents always put everything first for us. It’s because they want to make sure that we get everything we need.
It takes parents to understand parents
And I love you both so much….
